While at Yale, Naheem focused on human-computer interaction and artificial intelligence, while also working as a student hospitality manager. He has spent two summers as an assistant program manager, helping students apply to high schools and colleges, as well as matching them with internships in their creative areas. In addition to his cognitive science studies, Naheem studied international policy and the Korean language, leading him to spend two summers in South Korea. During these summers, he researched language learning technology and learned more about the Korean language and culture. Naheem recently completed his bachelor’s degree and plans to apply for a PhD in human-computer interaction in the near future. He is proficient in Korean and Spanish. Besides travel and education, he loves creative nonfiction writing and hopes to write a lot more after graduation.
