This seminar adopts a comprehensive approach to tumors, defined as abnormal masses resulting from disordered growth. Exploring the progressive, purposeless, and parasitic nature of tumors across different human body systems is a key focus. Throughout the course, students examine benign and malignant tumors across various body systems, enhancing their understanding of disease processes crucial for accurate recognition, diagnosis, and treatment. They analyze gross and histological features of different neoplasms in diverse body systems and engage with video-recordings of post-mortem examinations, illuminating various cancer types. Furthermore, students gain practical experience with ultrasound machines, highlighting methodologies for cancer detection.
