While at Trinity College, Talia completed a yearlong program studying literature at Oxford University. She has also studied abroad in Rome twice. In 2024, her studies in the humanities and research on historical cartography earned her the Giovanna y Antonio Award from the Societa dei Naturalisti in partnership with the University of Naples. In addition to serving as editor of her college’s weekly newspaper, Talia has been published in literary journals across America and was nominated for a Pushcart Prize during her sophomore year. More recently, her writing appeared in the Oxford Review of Books. This fall, Talia will finish her B.A. at Trinity before backpacking through Eastern Europe after graduation.
