While at Bates, Lauren focused on Psychology and Women and Gender Studies while also earning a minor in Math. She also studied abroad in Perugia, Italy. After college, she worked as a teaching fellow at a boarding school while completing her master’s degree in Education through the University of Pennsylvania. Lauren has worked in education since graduating, serving in a variety of schools and roles. She now works as a high school learning specialist and math teacher, helping students build their executive functioning skills. This fall, Lauren will continue this work in addition to coaching the school’s field hockey team.
