Will received an A.B. in Philosophy from Princeton University, graduating with honors and two awards for his senior thesis. He focused on ancient and medieval philosophy, spending two terms abroad at Oxford University during his junior year. To support these studies, he learned Latin, ancient Greek, and a smattering of French. During these years, he was a three-time leader for Outdoor Action, leading incoming freshmen on weeklong orientation backpacking trips. In order to keep being around books, classrooms, and long conversations, he spent a year teaching literature and philosophy at a classical high school outside of New York City. Since then, he’s taught philosophy to high schoolers and undergraduates at Princeton, Cairn University, and on two occasions online. For the last couple of years, Will has been a Barry Scholar studying Aristotle and the mind on a Masters degree back in Oxford. His academics have also taken him to London, Paris, Athens, Rome, Jerusalem, and, most recently, Munich. When not studying or teaching, Will also enjoys a passable novel, a mid-length concert, and a grass court tennis match.
