After a long day of learning, get a glimpse of how Oxford Academia students at Yale take time to unwind.
We have been making the most of our evenings, but last night’s outing was definitely a fan-favorite! We headed to Dunkin’ Park to catch the Hartford Yard Goats baseball team in action where it happened to be Dinosaur Night (which made the experience even more unforgettable!).
The stadium was full of energy, with dinosaur-themed fun around every corner. Students cheered from the stands, posed with inflatable dinos, and soaked up the exciting atmosphere of a doubleheader. The Yard Goats played two games back-to-back against the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, and there was even a big-league feel with New York Mets players on rehab assignments making appearances.
We even made it onto the big screen several times, even getting a spotlight on the “Coolest Fans Cam” of the night, which was a fun moment for the group.
It was the perfect mix of summer fun, baseball, and a little prehistoric flair. We returned to campus smiling, a little sun-tired, and excited for everything still to come.
