After finishing her undergraduate studies at the Université Paris Dauphine, Gabrielle did an internship in a microfinance institute in Burkina Faso, where she helped isolated populations access the banking system, notably by generalizing the use of mobile phones in the credit-lending process to save significant travel time to rural loaners. While at the London School of Economics, she worked for an NGO dedicated to raising children’s awareness of climate change. She ran workshops in various cities in France, explaining to young pupils the energy transition and the actions they can take at their level. Gabrielle has lived in France, Italy, Australia, Belgium, and the United Kingdom, and has traveled across Asia, North America, and Europe. Fluent in English and French, Gabrielle is also learning Italian and Spanish. Passionate about cinema and gastronomy, she was part of the “Culture” section of her university’s newspapers. This is her second year with Paris Academia. After a traineeship at the Chief Economist Team at the European Commission, she will work as a research assistant before applying to a Ph.D. in economics.
