While at school, Meredith focused on studying the healthcare systems and healing traditions of different cultures around the world, and broke down and analyzed the American healthcare system. Through studying, Meredith has found herself extremely interested in pursuing a career in naturopathic medicine or alternative medicine. At University, she worked in the Emergency Department as a chief research associate where she helped execute several clinical research studies and oversaw other clinical research associates. Meredith also enjoys the performing arts and has acted in several plays and musicals throughout her education. She also likes to express herself with visual art as well, as she paints and draws frequently. Meredith’s interests and passions have brought her all around the world. As the daughter of diplomats, Meredith began her childhood in Brazil. She lived there for two years where her hunger for international experiences was born. At University, Meredith took an intensive Spanish course in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Along with Spanish, she explored Latin American history, film, and gender history. Meredith now works as an English teacher in the south of Spain as she continues her international lifestyle. This fall, Meredith will be returning to Spain to continue the bilingual education of both herself and the delightful children of Spain.
