While at Adelphi, Monique focused on advocating for social justice, global advocacy, and community engagement through the Levermore Global Scholars Honors Program. During her freshman year of college, she attended the American College of Norway in Moss, Norway. There she was able to connect with her Norwegian heritage and learn some of the language. Besides living in Norway, she has also lived in Spain and Cyprus and traveled to over 50 countries. Monique most recently worked at an executive search firm whose focus is to ensure diverse candidate slates and help companies and candidates reach their full potential. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese and proficient in Catalan and Norwegian. This fall, Monique will be taking time to travel around Europe.
