While at Bates, Lauren focused on Psychology in addition to Women and Gender Studies and Math. She also studied and lived in Perugia, Italy for three months during her time at Bates, where she studied to become proficient in Italian in addition to continued coursework in Psychology. After graduating, she completed a teaching fellowship program at St. Paul’s School through the University of Pennsylvania while completing her graduate degree in education. At St. Paul’s, she taught math, coached field hockey and softball, and worked and lived in the dorms. Lauren now works as a high school Learning Specialist, working with students on study strategies and executive function skills. This fall, Lauren will be continuing her work as a Learning Specialist and field hockey coach.
