Currently studying as an undergraduate at Brasenose College in the heart of Oxford, Amélie is focusing on international relations and economics, with a special interest in European politics and international security. She is part of her college’s competitive rowing team, and while at Oxford has gotten involved in published economics discussion papers as a research assistant. In 2019, Amélie attended the Harvard Model Congress for Europe taking place in Madrid, debating current policy issues and gaining an understanding of the inner workings of the American congress. She is now balancing her degree, her athletic commitments, and her part-time job as an assistant librarian for Brasenose College. Besides books, rowing and international politics, Amélie loves trekking in the high mountains, a passion she gained from her years as a Girl Scout. Born and raised in Paris, Amélie is a native French speaker, as well as proficient in Spanish. This fall, she will be starting the final year of her degree at Oxford University, and preparing to continue on with a politics Masters in the U.S.
